Blankie

Julia loves soft things.  It is fun to watch her snuggle with random things in the house.  She found a little fuzzy that must have come out of a pillow or something.  It was only the size of a pea, but she cuddled with it for a couple of days.  Here she is with her blankie:

She is officially in size 3 diapers now too.  Crazy how little she is!

My Mom!

We had a great visit with my Mom.  I met her husband Jon, who is super nice.  He is very friendly and we all had a great visit.
Right away, the boys talked Grandma Pam into getting onto the trampoline with them.  It was awesome, the boys loved that.

Just hanging out in the backyard!  :)

We hit the Pioneer Day parade.  Each of us got a fatboy!  How cool is that?
Then at the fairgrounds, Blake scaled this climbing wall.

And Kyle gave this bungee jump thing a try.  He loved it!
Since my Mom's bday is so close, we went ahead and celebrated.  She wore her own tiara while she opened presents.  Then she took us out to dinner.  Yum.

Dallin's present made everybody laugh.  He picked out a flowered flyswatter! Ha!

We played some bocci ball, which they had never played before. I think Jon won!
Beginner's luck.
Evening came and lucky us, we just walked outside to the park and watched fireworks from there.
What a wonderful evening it was.

The boys always get these glow sticks when we do fireworks.  And Jon being a kid at heart put it on his head.  Silly!  My Mom got up on the playground with the boys and had fun too.
More glowsticks.  The weekend went by super fast.  It was a fun visit.  My boys were super sad to see her go.  So we will have to get together again soon!  :)

Dumptruck

I have such fun memories of the boys playing with their dumptrucks.  We spent many happy days outside with those toys.
Happily, Julia has now discovered how fun they are too.
She is so lucky to have big brothers who love her.
I love how her legs are straight out.  She did that before she was born.  Legs straight out, in my belly.  :)
Then she wanted out and had to push it herself.

Grasshopper

Dallin found this grasshopper in our front yard.  Boys love bugs.

Julia was mesmerized by this moving little creature.  I wish I recorded her cute little baby words and expression.  It was sweet.  She was wide eyed, fascinated!  Then, it jumped right onto her head!
One of my favorite things about Julia is how easy going she is.  She just smiled, and laughed.  Dallin laughed too!

Peaches Too!

We have an early bearing peach tree in our back yard, in fact  I have already harvested them.
There for a week or two, it was Dallin and Julia's breakfast of choice.

Mmm, here they are.  All cleaned and ready for jam.

Raspberries

Our raspberries are ready!  Monumental event here at the Schwab house.  We look forward to this all year!
We go out early before it gets too hot.  And there are less wasps out.
 Look at that handful!
Julia is quite greedy with them.  She puts them into her mouth by the handful.
She even knows now to pick to red ones.

Wyoming

We went down to Aunt Helens and played at the river.  She has some cute boats that the kids love to dangle in the water.
Dallin found a shady spot!  Lucky dog.  :)
Here is Dallin doing the "Windshield washer" in the stream.

Blake and Kyle got in the tube and had fun cooling off in the water.

 Swimming!
Julia was so good while we were there!  She slept most of the drive up.  Then fell asleep during the 3 minute drive to the river.  She napped in the van for about 45 minutes.  Then woke up happy!  On the way home, she fell right to sleep, slept the whole way home, and transferred into her crib no problem.  What?!  It was awesome.

She love playing in the water.  She kept trying to eat the pebbles!  I love how she is not shy.  She just jumps right in and has a good time.

Aunt Helen had a fun task for the older kids.  Apparently, if you put enough rubber bands on a watermelon, it will explode.  But nothing ever happened when the kids did it.  So Uncle Lynn took it and shot it.  The kids still got to see it explode.

Julia loved baby Kingston.  He is such a cute baby!  So happy and sweet!  He is 5 months old.  They will be great buddies I am sure.  :)

Wyoming

Girl clothes are pretty fun!  She wore this cute little dress and her sweet little jelly sandals.

Blake picked me some flowers!  :)  He was just trying to be sweet, but we reminded him that those flowers weren't for picking, they weren't ours.

We went to the parade, and the kids all got pulled in Grandpa Joe's tractor.  They had fun throwing out candy.

Cuteness overload!  Julia and I found a shady spot during the parade and there was this cute puppy that she loved!  The puppy loved her too!

All the kids had fun together!  :)  It was a fun weekend.

4th of July

We made it up to Wyoming for the 4th of July.  It was beautiful and there's lots of fun stuff for the kids to do.
Julia had her first motorcycle ride!  She loved it so much.  All the rest of the day, she would walk over to the motorcycles and ask by reaching out her hand.

Brian let Dallin try to ride this little motorcycle on his own.  But Dallin wasn't in the mood to listen, and he just tried to take off.

It startled Dallin, so Brian softly put Dallin onto the ground so that he wouldn't hurt himself.  This motorcycle goes so slow anyway.  It is slower than a bicycle.  But this experience helped Dallin have a respect for motorized vehicles.  Each of the boys do.  I like that the boys can learn on things that won't hurt them and they learn to be safer drivers.

Dallin preferred just riding with Dad anyway.  :)
