Painting and Painting

I started the interior last weekend. I always want to do the rolling first, but you gotta be patient and cut everything out before you can roll. It’s slow going, especially with my little “helpers.”

It’s hard to choose a color, I lived with some sample colors on my wall for a few months.  I finally decided on a light soft gray that wasn’t too cold, not too brown.

Hers my oldest, Kyle, who really was a big help. He took off the outlet covers and reinstalled them later.

Dallin was losing his mind, begging to help roll. He could never do enough. “Can I roll? Can I roll?!” Finally I set up a large area that I felt he could do on his own. And he did great!

A splash of happy

I love having a painted front door. My house really needed some added warmth in the entry way.

Cutting around the door fixtures is always a slow meticulous process.

Yellow is a tricky color. It goes lemon or orange easily. I tried a few samples til I found this one, and I love it!
