1st Grade Program

I watched Kyle in his little 1st grade program. It was so cute!

Earlier this school year, his class also did something called the chicken dance. But Kyle was embarrassed by it and purposely didn't tell me about it. He also removed the flyer from his backpack so I didn't get to see it. That made going to this extra special.

He was singing and doing great! Look at him in his little shirt and tie. Cute boy.

The gift wrap is because he was a present. He is a gift, each of my special boys are.

I can hardly believe he is about to wrap up his 1st grade year. Milestones are coming fast now. I am excited to see the boys grow up but a little sad too. I see pictures of them when they were younger and I miss those days. They will never come around again. It makes me want to enjoy each moment with them more. I am a lucky mom.

Mothers Day

I got some cute presents this year from the boys.
Kyle made me a cute card and bookmark:

In preschool, Blake made me this little recipe card holder and card:

And Dallin slept until 6:45! That is a great thing. For me there is a big difference between 6:00 and 6:45.

I love that he still sleeps with his little bum poking up sometimes.

Brian did the dishes for me, swept and mopped. So nice. I had great day.

I hope my mom did too.

Happy Mothers Day!

Shots

Blake had his 4 year old checkup a few weeks ago. Everything looks great, he is a healthy kid. He got his shots so he is good to go for kindergarten in a year and a half (already!). He is really tall for his age and still has a big head. That is a Schwab characteristic.
Anyway, the shots were a big deal, but he did really good with them. A couple of nights ago, he was telling me a story how his Lamb had to go to the doctor and get shots. He got two shots, just like Blake did. Lamb got two bandaids, just like Blake. Lamb got a sticker just like Blake did. And he got a lollipop, just like Blake. Except that Lamb's lollipop was grass flavored, since that is what Lamb wanted.

Easter

The Easter egg hunt was great this year.

As I went through my pictures, I didn't get as many as I thought. My rechargeable batteries have been lasting less and less time too. But I did get a few good ones.

Good natured Dallin was just smiling! What a good boy.

Happy day.

Baby Animal Days

We got to go to see some cute little critters. I pulled Kyle out of school a little early so that he could come along.

We went with cousin Allie, it was really fun.

I didn't know how cute baby goats could be. Blake was feeding them.

These baby cows were suckling anything that came their way, including fingers. With the encouragement of one of the animal caretakers, I blurted out, "Kyle, stick your fingers in the baby cows mouth!" Add that to the list of things I never thought I would say.

Blake's favorite, a baby lamb. It was very sweet to see how soft and tender Blake was with this lamb.

Anyway, we had a fun time. Too bad Kyle was grumpy for most of it, I could have gotten some better pictures, but it was still great.

Flooding

My crawl space is filling up with water. There are places where it is a good three inches deep.

It is really not that big of a deal for us because it is just dirt down there. Also, anything that I store in there is waterproof and in plastic bins. But it is a pain to have to keep an eye on everything.
There is still lots of snow on the mountains, so this will probably get worse. If you are here in cache valley, watch your place closely. Floods where the water comes from outside in are not covered by your basic homeowners insurance.

Dallin is ONE!

The baby is now being measured in years instead of months. This last year has flown by!

Having this sweet spirit in our home has been such a blessing and has brought so much happiness to our family. His brothers both adore him, everything he does makes them giggle and when they giggle, he giggles. He is a happy boy and good sleeper, he just plunks his little thumb in his mouth and closes his eyes. It is amazing!

We love having this little guy around, he is calm, happy and loving. Happy Birthday my chubby boy!

Talking With Kyle

Last night, Kyle was telling me about his little popcorn party at school where they got to watch a movie as a class. He was pretty happy about it, here is why. He said, "Mom, it was so awesome. We learned...nothing. Oh so nice, nothing."
